MFA Candidate Jordan Whitten's Thesis Exhibition at Tipton Gallery
The Boone Dam Project © Jordan Whitten The ETSU Department of Art & Design and Slocumb Galleries present The Boone Dam Project exhibition by Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) candidate Jordan Whitten from March 18 - March 29 at the Tipton Gallery. The closing reception will take place on Friday, March 29 from 6-8pm. The exhibition consists of archival inkjet prints representing a three-year exploration of immediate and residual impacts made on the environment, economy and community affected by repairs being made to the Boone Dam that have resulted in lower lake levels since 2014. Tipton Gallery is located at 126 Spring Street, Johnson City, TN. Gallery hours are Thursday and Fridays from 5 - 7pm, First Friday receptions, and by appointment.
